How did churchill do last year? and who did they lose from last year?

Churchill had pretty much all new players last year. The finished 5th overall and lost to NWS, Hopkins, and South Eugene.

Pool B is soooo much better than pool A.

Anonymous said...

I agree with the post above. NWS won't have any hard games the first day...lame...

Yea, something got messed up in the seedings. Pool B has really good teams, and it'd be harder to make it into the championship bracket, where as pool A has NWS... whom i expect will crush the rest of the pool. Does anyone know why these teams are arranged like this?

watch out for the Alameda girls this year, way too hyphy.gv

What are the players to watch out for?

Anonymous said...

who knows anything about the minnesota teams?

Anonymous said...

i have two words, erica baken

Anonymous said...

ummm... can you add a few more words?? who is erica baken... who does she play for....

Anonymous said...

Who are some good players from MN or CA?

Anonymous said...

erica baken is most likely the best player in minnesota. she dominates, even parts of the mens games in leagues with men that are in their twentys she handles and will be playing for an elite club team this summer. she is arguably one of the best players in the country. can anything else be said, no she is 100% unstoppable

erica baken from hopkins or cathedral?

Anonymous said...

Erika is from Hopkins, and I think that we might be throwing the word unstoppable out a little prematurely. She's very good. Drew Johnson is better.

Erika is a chilly handler with exceptional throws, but there will be better players at this tourney, and better players in that pool.

the best game on saturday is going to be churchill and hale

Who else should we look out for? Besides Erica. Oregon and washington have some great players, but what about cathedral? Or the team from California?

Anonymous said...

Is drew johnson a senior?

Anonymous said...

drew johnson is not playing at westerns. she is not eligible.

best game on saturday will be churchill and northwest for sure.

*Anna Snyder (NW), Lucy Wolf (NW), Elizabeth Arakaki (Hale), Autumn Tocchi (Churchill), Bailey Zahniser (SAAS), Maggie Fisher (Lakeside), Sarah Hoistad (Hopkins.. eligible?), *Fiona McKibben (Hale)... sorry that's so Seattle centered, but that's what I know.
*=Worlds

Sarah Hoistad isnt eligible unfortunately

Anonymous said...

Autumn Tocchi played worlds

Fiona McKibben actually attends Bush, though she's been at Westerns playing with Hale the last few years. Hale has had several non-Hale students each year. Because of the tightened eligibility requirements for girls, Fiona and Drew aren't able to finish their high school career with Hale. Fiona will be leading Bush, so you can still watch her play this weekend, and she is pretty awesome.

another elite player is aubi bishop. she's an oregon player and with her and autumn as a senior dou they will be hard to beat. also they have a very good supporting cast made up of under-classmen. churchill is a dengerous team and have a good chance against the likes of Nathan Hale and NWS

some main players to watch on churchill will be like someone said earlier, aubri bishop(24), autumn tochi(7), kimber coles(5) i expect her to have a breakout westerns, and dont miss christine wilson(19), another player to watch is yeon choi(22), while shemight not be an overall amazing player, she has amazing fakes, it is guarenteed that she will get players to look back after one of her fakes. churchill has so many good players, i also dont think anyone has mentioned that htye got first place at a college tournement.

If the four seattle powerhouse teams were each a house from hogwarts... which team would be each house? hah

churchill hasn't lost anybody from last year, though they were fresh last year as well.

Though they've practiced a lot this year and have come out a strong team, coming ontop at Dirty Deeds, a college tourny.

I can definetly see a good game on Saturday with both CHS vs. NH and CHS vs. Hopkins.

so anna snyder and lucy wolf are the girls to look for on northwest? anyone else?

Anonymous said...

wow. i cant believe that no one has commented on this yet.

well, im slightly unsure about this, but:
Griffindor-Hale- they gots a few ballers
Northwest-Ravenclaw-they got the skilzz
Lakeside-Hufflepuff -they are friendly?
SAAS-Slytherin- they are wicked cool.

Anonymous said...

Lakeside's in yellow, which sounds very hufflepuff to me. I agree, those are good

Anonymous said...

who do you think will win?

Churchill
