TBO: Turkeybowl 3 HL Videos

The tournament is well over, but the first of two highlight videos is ready for your viewing pleasure.

International Community School, PHAT Turkey for the weekend, ended up taking the tournament 15-09 over Churchill's JV1 team. The tournament was a raging amount of fun even though it did not turn out to be as big a tournament as I had hoped. The weather held for us, but the rain that dumped every day leading up to the tournament provided for some rather soft and muddy conditions...

watch out for the international school "ButterCups". intitially the sitxth seed, the buttercups bring along some MoHo players and a deep girls side. although just looking to give some of their newer players tournament experiance, the buttercups will certainly put upa fight. beware the "butercup cup".

No way Lindsey we're the PHAT TURKEYS now! ICS also got 2nd in Div II WA States last year in a 15-13 final.

what moho players are coming along here? i thought this was a newer squad?

the seedings don't matter too much, but if there is concern i'll relook at them.

The video was made by an ICS player, not me. And later this week we will be putting up our HL video and that one wasn't even made by me either... (i'm holding ours back until our fall banquet on Saturday evening, otherwise it would be up right now)

they really have a ton of skill as throwers considering they're Jv division players.

i especially liked the dojo/sensei cheer. good bit of editing too.

Churchill and South Eugene were the only two schools with true JV (or B) teams. Tribe came and played their lower level players and had their top senior help coach. Churchill actually came with 4 teams, but with Summit from Bend dropping the tournament format became nicer if CHS went to 3 teams or 10 teams overall... too much information, but hey, i don't have anything else to do right now.

Props to Frank Nam! That's his sensei cheer, as far as I know.
