did they submit a bid?

I cant believe Pennsbury, Wiss, Princeton, and Columbia all got bids, I thought one or two of those for would be left out.

Wiss and Columbia both get automatic bids for winning their respective States last year. Princeton and Pennsbury get them for beating those said teams.

Why no NMH?

This does look like a very weak field of competition compared to last years Eastern's.

I'm suprised to see no representation from GA.

And two teams from VA? I didn't think LC Bird performed well at all in the fall. And they are not going to either Amherst Invite or Padeia Cup.

What are people's thoughts/predictions on Westerns?

who's the most feared team?

what about new teams? (I'm from California, and I've never heard of Thousand Oaks)

tell us what you think.

Hopkins got a bunch of seniors. I've seen them several times this year and they are solid. Not sure how they match up with the likes of Northwest, Churchill, and South Eugene but we'll see.

They've been training all year against adult competition and some college teams.

"If you're going to complain about teams going to Easterns, complain about Milton, Lincoln-Sudbury, and Scarsdale, not Columbia, Pennsbury, Princeton, or Wissahickon, all of whom are better teams than the three above."

What are you basing that off of?

Yup, NMH lost a whole slew of seniors, but that wasn't why they didn't apply -- they couldn't. They didn't play in a UPA sanctioned state championship last year, so that made them ineligible for Easterns. (They had a pass from the UPA last year.)
